This Sunday we have our last Epistle reading from Ephesians. In the final chapter St Paul alerts us that we are contending not only with human evil but with “cosmic powers of this present darkness” and with “spiritual forces of evil.” Thus, he says, we need to put on “the whole armor of God.” Pr Pierson will help us with this challenging message under the heading of "Make a Stand!" This Sunday we continue to have Epistle readings from Ephesians. The reading for the day begins with St. Paul reminding all Christians to be "submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ" (5:21). How does this work in everyday life in a sinful world? St Paul goes on to discuss everyday life in his own time under the headings of husbands and wives, children and parents, masters and slaves. Pr Pierson will help us with Christian "submitting" under the heading of "Ironing Out the Wrinkles!" Please join us in person or on Zoom.
