As Christians we believe that Jesus is our Savior, through whom we are given new life. The Gospel (the “good news”) is that His forgiveness sets us free from sin and the law so that we can love and serve one another. Thus, Jesus is at the heart of everything we are and everything we do. As Paul writes, "We preach Christ, and him crucified..." (1 Cor. 1:18), and that is the basis of our teaching and our confession. Jesus died for all of us who are too sinful to save ourselves. This is the Good News!
